Unemployed man commits suicide at Ejisu. 14-02-12

A middle-aged unemployed man has committed suicide at Kwamo, near Ejisu in the Ashanti Region. 

The deceased who has been identified only as Ahmed hanged himself in his bedroom at about 12:30 p.m. on Monday.

A co-tenant, Abena Abrafi, tells Nhyira News the deceased was treated for mental disorder and declared fit by doctors about two years ago. 
She says the man who lived alone looked normal until yesterday’s tragedy.

The body has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for autopsy as police begin investigation.  
Ahmed left behind two children who are said to be studying at the university.
