Police in Accra are currently hunting for a military officer for allegedly supplying guns to armed robbers.
Police gathered intelligence that suspect Zakaria Abdulai 35yrs who is currently on Court bail in a robbery case at Ashaiman Circuit court has been renting out Arms to robbers to rob.
The suspect was arrested at the court right after his case was adjourned.
Upon his arrest, he took Police to a room of Abdulai Seidu at Newland, a suburb of Ashaiman where an AK 47 assault rifle No. NK 40 5620 was retrieved.
He mentioned one Robert, a soldier at Michel Camp as his supplier. However, Abdulai was not at home when Police visited the house.
