Tension is mounting between Dr Amoako Tuffour and the Member of Parliament for Nhyiaso Constituency, Kennedy Kankam over the suspension Constituency Chairman.
Constituency Chairman, George Kofi Adjei was suspended on Wednesday by the Regional Disciplinary Committee signed by the Chairman, Dr Amoako Tuffour.
It followed a petition filed against the chairman by the Nhyiaso sub-metro coordinator and Assembly man in the constituency, Nana Prempeh for several allegations including assaulting of his second vice chairperson and financial malfeasance.
The Member of Parliament for the area, Kennedy Kankam is questioning the authority of the petitioner .
He is also questioning the validity of the suspension by Dr Amoako Tuffour describing it as inappropriate.
Kennedy Kanakam who was speaking with Nhyira Fm's Kofi Asante Ennin on Kroyi Mu Nsem says the action an attempt to disrupt and tanish the image of the constituency chairman.
Meanwhile, the Regional NADMO Coordinator, Kwabena Senkyire accused the Dr. Amoako Tuffour for what he describes as a mafia work to cause confusion in the party in the region.
